Terry Gou, Foxconn CEO: Employees commit suicide not because of poor working conditions 
 
For factory frequent suicide, Foxconn has announced that will make internal reforms, introduced to reduce employee overtime, wage increases, install protective nets, as well as a series of measures such as psychological counseling staff. Gou has said Foxconn had to invest heavily to improve working conditions in Chinese factories, saying the outside world for Foxconn "sweatshop" accusation is unfair. 
July 1, Taiwan media quoted the British Sky News reported that Foxconn Terry Gou, founder and president, said during talks with investors, 90% of the factory staff suicides because of "personal emotional problems" and "family dispute" is not because of poor working conditions.
