Your role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to become part of a fast growing, exciting business and seize the opportunities that such an environment provides.
As Account Manager, you will lead the planning, buying, implementation and reporting of campaigns following a briefing from the Account Director or the Client. You will be responsible for your own campaigns and contribute to strategy presentations and reviews.
This role offers great opportunity to take digital advertising campaign briefs from clients and create innovative and effective media plans and add new channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong digital marketing background and a passion for technology.
Some of the things we’d like you to do:
Manage and develop day to day relationships with clients, media owners and other agencies, raising key issues to the management.
Manage and optimise campaigns in-flight at all levels : SEO / PPC Baidu / Adwords Google / Ads Placement / RTB / eMailing / Social Networks
Communicate client actions to relevant internal resources (media, creative, technology, data & analysis) and follow up to ensure such actions are delivered in accordance with client briefs and budget
Monitor client tracking and resolve any identified issues, liaising with internal client resource and/or BysoftChina as appropriate
Ensure weekly client reporting is produced accurately and on time, working with other internal resources where necessary
Identify opportunities for improvement on the client account through media, marketing, creative, technological or process change
Attend regular client meetings, ensuring all pertinent actions are captured and subsequently delivered on
Run planning brainstorms
Manage and coach your team of consultants
Responsible for client invoicing
Contribute to overall strategy, reviews and innovation

The skills we expect you to have
At least 2-3 years prior experience in digital marketing within an established media agency or in-house team is essential with experience of planning, buying, delivering, optimizing and reporting
Very solid knowledge of SEO / PPC / eMailing / Content copywriting / Social Media / eCRM / Ads Placement / Reporting
English & Chinese speaking
Knowledge and experience working on B2B clients preferred
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and eagerness to learn
Interested in industry developments and innovation
A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers is key; You must be able to analyse raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations as needed
A passion for everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of online advertising industry trends
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are particularly important in developing client relationships.
The ability to think on your feet, to be creative and talk about a wide variety of complex issues will be paramount in progressing your career
A self-motivated individual who is well organised and client focussed with strong presentation and negotiation skills
Highly computer literate with good skills in all basic Office programs (especially Excel)
