Receptionist Private Medical Clinic
Accountable for the efficient operation of the front desk and reception function for our unique international clinic that was opened 3 years ago in Shanghai.
Greet, instruct, and direct patients and visitors.
Check-in patients, verify, update and file necessary information in the computer and the patient charts.
Serve as a liaison between patient and medical support staff.
Answer telephones, schedule appointments, post charges and receive cash payments, as needed.
Verify eligibility and insurance coverage, including referrals, if required.
Maintain new patient chart components.
Maintain work area and lobby and observe patient flow.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager
Update patient records from Doctors' notes.
Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system
Maintain all patient files, records and databases.
Manage Inventory.
Qualifications
Fluent in Spoken and Written English and Mandarin.
1 year reception/front desk/ admin experience - any industry
Bachelors Degree or Higher
General office skills and general computer knowledge.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Friendly, courteous and polite demeanor with emphasis on sensitivity, sincerity and compassion.
Ability to work under stressful conditions; exercise independent judgment and discretion; have a pleasant, courteous telephone manner; ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously; ability to work with frequent interruptions;
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member.
Must be interested, caring and motivated to work with all kinds of patients including children and older people.
