EpaiLive provides the latest technology to enable auction houses to broadcast auctions live from their salerooms and for Chinese buyers to reach international art and antique collections housed in galleries and auction houses from across the world.
Since April 2011, EpaiLive has received overwhelming support and backing, allowing it to develop its services on an international scale – already over 800 different auction houses in China and abroad have published their auctions on the website. As of the end of 2011 EpaiLive’s services covered Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and Africa, covering 25 different countries across 6 continents. Users have signed up for EpaiLive user accounts from over 70 different countries and regions requesting the website’s wide range of services.
On 18th May 2012 EpaiLive received an investment of RMB 200 million from AVIC International, with the aim of EpaiLive developing itself into a multilingual e-commerce website within the next three years. EpaiLive seeks to provide an all encompassing online bidding and logistics service, using the technological innovation of AVIC as inspiration to eventually act on a national level, verifying and preserving China’s cultural treasures and art.
