Online Part-time English teachers for kids (Native Speakers from US/UK/CAN/AUS)
Job Description:
This is a new Language School offering online English classes for young learners from 5 to 16 years old, using our own web-based educational platform. It focuses on 1 on 1 (or 1 on 3) English tutoring. We are recruiting part-time English teachers all year round, who can give fun and interactive English classes to our students via video-conference. The teaching place and time are quite flexible.
Personal qualifications:
1. Native English speaker from US/UK/CAN/AUS.
2. Candidates should be in mainland China as the internet speed would be more stable if teachers are in China. If you are in abroad, please install and purchase the VPN astrill.com
3. Candidates should have teaching experience for kids.
4. TESOL/TEFL certification, or willingness to obtain certification within the probation period, is required.
5. Willingness to commit to a set weekly working schedule. And should be commit to teach at least 4 periods of time in the following timetable.
Monday 6:30pm-9pm
Tuesday 6:30pm-9pm
Wednesday 6:30pm-9pm
Thursday 6:30pm-9pm
Friday 6:30pm-9pm
Saturday 9am-12am, 2pm-5pm， 6pm-9pm
Sunday 9am-12am, 2pm-5pm， 6pm-9pm
Technical requirements:
Windows:
Intel Core2 Duo/Pentium G series or above CPU; AMD Athlon 64X2 4400+ pr above CPU (no netbook or tablet).
RAM：2GB or more
Windows: 7 /8 (latest service packs)
Internet Explorer web browser: Version 9 or higher.
Mac:
Mac OS X10.7 or newer (no Ipad)
RAM：2GB or more
Safari : Version 5.1 or above
Internet Speed: Minimum 800 Kbps download and 500 Kbps upload wired internet connection: Cable, DSL, or Fiber Optics (no wireless connection). Our company requires a wired connection to the modem or router during the interview and actual sessions.
Webcam: Either built-in or preferably high quality Creative, Logitech, or comparable.
Headset: Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 preferred, or any headset with sealed headphones and a swivel boom microphone (EXCEPT Logitech USB headsets).
