Role Title: Quality Director
Location: Zhao/Qing, Guangdong
Line Managers: to General Manager of L&V
Dot-line Managers: to Asia Quality Director
The mission of this role is to:
Coordinate activities in the L&V branch to achieve Customer Satisfaction for Quality
Customer interface for Quality matters ( Quality in development, in production and after sales) in the L&V branch
Monitor and Control the conformity on Development and Production processes
General Functions and tasks
Set targets in line with Group/Asia quality objectives
Develop the Quality Improvement Plan and tools to achieve the quality objectives and physical indicators in his or her perimeter
Deploy the Quality culture within his/her perimeter
Manage Quality network in his or her perimeter
Represent Customer within L&V on Quality matters (Communication / Escalation)
Validate the conformity of products/process during development including suppliers components:
Accountable for Project Quality deliverables
Accountable for Initial Sample validation before Customer submission
Audit / Improve the implementation of Quality System in his or her perimeter according to Group/Asia guidelines
Contribute to the knowledge management of Quality people within the L&V Branch

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or above, majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related
Over 10 years quality working experience in manufacturing companies, especially At least 5 year of working experience in Automotive industry, rich experience in quality system and on-site quality management. Preferably with electric motor and actuator working experience
Familiar with the TS16949, VDA6.3/VDA6.5, Ford Q1, Formal Q preferred
Familiar with quality management tools such as APQP,FMEA, Six Sigma etc
Good analytical, communication, interpersonal skills and a team builder.
Can read, write and speak good English; Able to speak Japanese is an added advantage.
Knowledge on CMMI and Spice Quality system is an added advantage.
Working experience 15+ Years
