Job Description:

General Responsibilities
• Deliver interactive educational content to learners using scripted multimedia materials and a variety of audio-visual aids
• Use immersive learning techniques such as story-telling, singing, dialogue and role playing in combination with formal exercises to deliver curriculum
• Interact with learners in a way that makes language learning fun, engaging and effective
• Measure progress through both formal and informal assessments
• Participate in center promotional and social events as needed
• Partner with Assistant Trainer to lead the class, and ensure classes are run efficiently and start and end as scheduled
• Collect audio & visual portfolio evidence of language learner work & progress during lessons
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• A minimum of 18 months of post-bachelor’s work experience, including a minimum of 12 months of continuous teaching employment
• A passion for educating children
• Ability to command the attention of large groups of children in an engaging manner
• English language fluency including but not limited to: proper grammar, sentence structure, word tense, subject-verb agreement, and proper use of adjectives and adverbs
• Demonstration of a neutral accent, clear pronunciation, good intonation and English language rhythm
• Energetic, enthusiastic approach to delivering content to learners
• Ability to commit to a 12-15 month contract
