About This Role
We are seeking a visionary Engineering Director to lead the development and execution of display technologies. This role will be responsible for driving the entire product lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, while ensuring alignment with market trends, technology roadmaps, and business strategies. The ideal candidate will oversee cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and deliver innovative display solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
What We Are Looking For
A seasoned engineering leader with 15+ years of experience in product development, including 5+ years in a global leadership role within the display technology space.
Expertise in display systems, including LCD, OLED, and backlight technologies, with a deep understanding of hardware, software, and system integration.
Proven ability to develop and implement engineering strategies that reduce costs, improve efficiency, and maintain competitive advantage.
Strong knowledge of supply chain dynamics, cost structures, and vertical integration opportunities. - Experience in VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) activities, failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions for field returns.
A track record of collaborating with Tier II suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product integration. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire global teams.
