Description



We are partnering with a leading global manufacturer in the Flavour & Fragrance Ingredients industry, renowned for delivering high-quality ingredients to top brands worldwide. This company is committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence, working closely with key players in the food, beverage, and fragrance sectors.



As a Shanghai-based Sales Manager for China, you will be responsible for managing and growing key client relationships, developing strategic sales initiatives, and driving business expansion in the region. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, expertise in B2B sales, and the ability to navigate a competitive market.



Responsibilities



In this role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors, creating and executing strategic account plans to drive revenue and profitability. You will identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, ensuring business growth while understanding customer needs and tailoring solutions accordingly. Acting as the primary point of contact for key decision-makers, you will manage sales forecasting, pipeline, and budgeting while staying updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain, QA, product development, marketing, and finance, to enhance the customer experience and contribute to regional sales strategies.

Requirements



The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field, with at least 6 years of B2B sales experience in Flavour & Fragrance, Food Ingredients, or a related industry. Proven experience in managing corporate key accounts and distributors, strong commercial acumen, and a track record of exceeding sales targets are essential. You should possess excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of market trends and industry developments. High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to work independently are important. Experience working in fast-paced, multinational environments is a plus.
