Account Director / Director - Strategic Communications Firm, B2B & B2C Technology Practice ( SHANGHAI or BEIJING )
An award-winning leading technology public relations and marketing communications consultancy is now looking to expand their team in China with an Account Director or Director (depending on the level and qualifications) in mainland China. As leaders in technology communications, the right candidate will work with some of the best and brightest experts in the tech industry, as well as a portfolio of exciting clients who are pushing the envelop with new tech services and product offerings. The ideal candidate will have both b2b / b2c experience in public relations and marketing project management within the technology sector.
About the Role
Build trusted client relationships at all levels and deliver business solutions, not just communications plans.
Provide council to some of the firm's biggest clients across the APAC region
Drive strategic both corporate and marketing communication plans
Client event management
Lead team on client management and project execution
Lead team on client pitches
Generate new business leads and explore market expansion opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
About the Candidate
Minimum 10+ plus years in public relations or media relations within the technology sector, preferably from a specialist agency / consulting setting.
A keen interest in the technology industry, specifically in areas such as, semiconductors, AI, deep tech, IoT, hardware devices and other emerging technologies
Ability and experience in managing teams across APAC
Strong project and event management experience, with the ability to travel across China.
Experience in product technology communications a major plus
Excellent understanding of media, and hot button issues in the technology space
Fluency in Chinese and English required
