Finance Manager – New Industrial Setup China
Finance Manager for a greenfield ramp-up in China, building the finance function, processes and governance from scratch in a growing industrial setup, supporting the transition to local operations within an international group.
Your responsibilities and tasks
Lead the establishment and development of the Finance & Administration function in China within a dynamic, fast-growing operational environment.
Build and manage core finance processes including accounting, tax, treasury, credit management, and financial governance across local legal entities.
Develop and steer financial controlling activities such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and investment support for a growing industrial footprint.
Design and implement an effective finance operating model in close cooperation with external service providers and international Shared Service Centers.
Act as a key financial business partner to local operations and commercial teams, supporting decision-making, investment planning, and organizational scaling.
Ensure strong governance, compliance, and internal control standards in line with group policies and local regulatory

Qualifications & Requirements:

Your experience and background
University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior finance or finance management role, ideally within complex international and matrix organizations.
Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in production- or investment-driven settings.
Demonstrated experience in large-scale investment projects, greenfield setups, or organizational ramp-up environments is highly preferred.
Familiarity with outsourced accounting models and/or Shared Service Center structures in an international context
Strong business partnering mindset with the ability to interface effectively with legal, compliance, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (mother tongue) and English (fluent), with excellent communication skills in an international environment.
