PR & COMMUNICATION MANAGER
Dutch Design Workspace is an incubator program for design, fashion and architecture supported by the Dutch government. We help foreign creative industry companies to start their business in China. We offer shared workspace and consultancy services such as PR support. Next to this we host a yearly event program tailor made for the creative industry in China. Since the start we have assisted more than 40 companies with their business development and start in the Chinese market.
As per 1stof September we are looking for an enthusiastic PR & COMMUNICATION MANAGER to join our company. You will be working with a young team in our cool, inspiring workspace environment located in the centre of Shanghai.
Main responsibilities
Implement and further develop media and marketing plan
Responsible for yearly event program
Media exposure and relation management
Work with our international design and lifestyle media network
Manage our website
PR support to incubator participants
Develop & manage creative business events
Regularly update our (social) media channels
Manage business club and liaise with sponsors
Host visitors and represent our incubator and its participants
Requirements
- You are a networker by nature, you like to write & present in public.
- You are passionate about design, fashion, architecture, culture, lifestyle and international trends.
- You have a strong network within Media and Design in Shanghai and rest of China.
- At least two years experience in similar position in China
- Able to work with demanding deadlines and targets
- Pro-active, social, representative, personality.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (Dutch optional)
- You can use Word/ Excel/ Powerpoint/ Mac/ Weibo/ Wordpress.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
