Trade Lane Manager-Latin America
Role & Responsibilities
1.Trade Lane Product Development
Conduct market profiling and customer/competitor research & analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges
New product evaluation, set-up and launch for GCA-LATAM trade lane
2.Trade Lane Business Growth Achievement
Monitor and drive sales performance of sales leads & opportunities in all GCA stations
Actively manage and develop revenue growth for GCA-LAM trade lane
Implement & achieve targets ensuring successful results against sales budgets
Implement effective pricing strategies to sustain profitable growth
Joint sales call with field sales – CDs for GCA-LATAM lane business
Support overseas colleagues on sales, pricing, product initiatives to secure TL business
Support any future development of other trade lanes as per the company’s strategy and directions
3.Trade Lane Performance Maintenance and Improvement
Maintain and grow oversea controlled business with overseas partner as well as GCA station and CD teams
Communication with overseas to enhance service level and commercial activities
Work with product team and other functional teams i.e. Marketing, to enhance existing products
Support TL oriented sales campaigns according to specific targets
Regular Conference calls with overseas teams on sales and product matters.
Review , analyze, volume and revenue development against targets, proposing initiatives to growth and achieve targets
Education, Experience, Certification and Training requirements
Bachelor degree or above
Minimum of 5 years experience in services and logistics industry, 2 years or above trade lane function is required
Job related experience in Trade Lane management is highly desirable
Strong MS applications
Fluent English and Spanish or Portuguese
Extensive communication skills verbally and written
Presentation skills
