A Logistic Manager for EYELEVEL is first and foremost the person who organizes our expedition services. To do this they must be highly organized individuals, excellent communicators, and team players working closely with our account, production and roll-out managers, assembly teams, forwarders, suppliers and other logistic personnel. A Logistic Manager is an essential part of every project, who guarantees smooth expedition of our products throughout the world by road, air or sea.
Logistic Managers are responsible for:
1. Communication (Inform EL teams, clients, and forwarders about shipments)
2. Suggesting ideal mode of transportation (road, sea, air, ex-works)
3. Preparing transport quotations (request offers, supply quotes to internal EL team)
4. Booking all methods of transportation (road, sea, air, ex-works)
5. Timely delivery (products are delivered to various global destinations on time)
6. Transport documentation (prepare and distribute to warehouse, PM, clients, forwarders)
7. Arranging customs documents (Euro 1, Certificate of Origin, export customs declaration)
8. Shipment status (overview of shipments from warehouse to client)
9. Booking couriers for special deliveries (time definite, pallet jacks, extra service)
Key Responsibilities:
Communication with clients and team members:
o Receiving transport briefings from project teams
o Providing answers to any transport related questions from client or team members
o Keep client informed about delivery status of their orders
o Imagine, troubleshoot and develop solutions to unexpected challenges
o Solve any claims to the client’s full satisfaction and exceed expectations
Project phase – Prototyping:
o Preparing transport quotations
o Booking collections and deliveries
o Arranging import of specially sourced items from other countries
Project phase – Serial production:
o Preparing transport quotations and documentation
o Confirming delivery details (address, contact person, special requirements)
o Booking collections and deliveries
o Coordinating deliveries of components to PACKIT
o Arranging import of specially sourced items from other countries
o Arranging customs documents, such as EUR 1, Certificate of Origin, A. TR
Project phase – Roll-Out/Shipping:
o Preparing transport quotations and documentation
o Confirming delivery details (address, contact person, special requirements)
o Booking collections and deliveries
o Coordinating deliveries of components to PACKIT
Qualifications & Requirements:
Required behavior, skills and experience:
1. Organized, efficient, structured, focused and goal oriented
2. Flexible, dedicated, loyal and passionate for the job
3. Excellent communication skills for both personal and written interaction with clients
4. Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics/transport – knowledge of customs processes and formalities for non EU shipments
5. Able to quickly learn specifics about special requests in various destinations – tail lift, pallet jack, timed deliveries.
6. Ability to manually calculate loading meters and ACW (air-chargeable weight)
Software:
o Computer literacy a must to quickly learn our proprietary software
o Advanced level of MS Excel is a must
Languages:
o English – advanced level required for daily written and verbal communication
o Other languages advantageous

Logistic Managers report to the Account, Roll-Out and Project Managers in their team.
