Responsibilities:
- Give lessons to 5~10 interpreters according to professional teaching methodology 2 hours per time and 1-2 times per month
- Give constructive feedback and provide advice to interpreters
- Help interpreters efficiently improve the level of their English required by their service goal
- Be able to teach on weekends if needed
- Create a pleasant, social, and courteous atmosphere in the company
Qualifications & Requirements:
Qualifications:
a) A passport from an English-speaking country (the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Ireland)
b) Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
c) A recognized qualification in TESOL/TEFL/CELTA or majored in Applied Linguistics/English Language and Literature
d) At least 1 year full-time, relevant teaching experience (adult teaching experience preferred)
e) Professional quality and interpersonal skills

The Shanghai Call Center, conveniently located in the Shanghai city center, is a nonprofit oriented hotline established by the Shanghai government in 2006. The hotline provides expatriates with a free 24 hour information and translation service portal.

You'll find yourself working in a multicultural environment as you'll be communicating with people from all over the world on a daily basis. The company will give you the opportunity to learn and grow, and will provide you with weekly language classes (English, Spanish, French etc.), as well as field trips to learn about Shanghai and to discover the expat hotspots.
