The position
Qualifications & Requirements:
We are looking to recruit a Project Assistant to join our team in Beijing. The tasks will include:
Support and assist in bidding for development projects;
Identify partner organizations and build partnerships;
Recruit experts for projects and prepare/enhance experts’ resumes (CVs);
Prepare expressions of interest, proposal administrative documents and other proposal components;
Update, maintain and enhance Enabling Environments’ database of experts, DB of partners and websites
Provide administrative support in the day-to-day running of the company & management of projects;
Any other duties required.
Qualifications and skills
A degree in one of our specialist areas, e.g. business administration, economics, etc, or equivalent
Minimum 1 year professional work experience
Experience with EU funded projects is a clear asset
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work to a high standard
A team player, who is motivated and flexible, with excellent communication skills
Fully computer literate
A passion for overseas development work and development
Fluent in English. Knowledge of French and/or Chinese is an advantage
Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
Conditions
Position start date: available immediately
Full time from 10am – 7pm (Monday – Friday)
Contract: 6 months renewable
Location: Jiu Xian Qiao, Da Shan Zi, Beijing
