Compliance Engineer - Need solar PV Experience
Company: ***Solar, a Multinational PV Solar product manufacturer, HQ in Shanghai, and many branches and offices all over the world.
Job Title: Compliance Engineer
Report to: CTO and Compliance Manager
Job Purpose:
Within **solar Technical Department, the compliance engineer drives in parallel several projects from kick-off to closure. Project scope cover a wide range of activities a.o. new product introduction, certification, feasibility studies
Responsibilities
1/ New Product Introduction: be in charge of the industrialization process of a new product line
• From feasibility study to product launch
• Testing and validation of prototyping
• Establishing the manufacturing flow and procedures from raw material ordering up to packaging and shipment
• Setting up technical documentations
• Driving the accreditation and certification process
• Ensuring smooth volume ramp-up in manufacturing partners
• Liaise with the sales & marketing team for efficient launching of the product (training, datasheets)
• Be the interface between **solar and partners during project execution (reporting to **solar & partner stake-holders, Steering Team committee)
2/ Certification activities
• Drive certification process for new modules design / special requests
• Selection of Certification agencies
• Definition and optimization of test-plans, quotation
• Preparation of all documentation
• Preparation of testing samples
• Follow-up of testing at certification agencies
• Active problem solving
3/ Market Survey / Active Technology Review
• Active survey of market trends / competitors trends and innovations
• Make proposal to **solar management team for innovation pipe-line management
• Drive feasibility study and conclusion on viability of the potential solutions
4/ Accompany customers during visits or audits in China to enhance the customer's understanding of **solar's products
• Introduce the **solar R&D Centre and factories of **solar manufacturing partners to customer
• Accompany customers in case of inspection of their products in factories

Qualifications & Requirements:
Requirement
- Master's level - Engineering background
- 3 years experience in PV industry (modules, EPC, R&D, certifications IEC/UL)
- Strong project management expertise (manage small project teams, multi-site, international, 6 to 12 months projects)
- Strong technical background in PV industry
- Ability to drive and motivate international team
- Hands-on project leader, proactive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory
