Responsibilities:
1. Develop DC solutions and professional services for global telecom carriers, government, and large enterprises based on industrial standards and best practices.
2. Provide professional services including business consulting, technical consulting, planning, and design for the global customers' DC projects.
Competency requirements:
The candidate must meet the requirements of one of the following domains.
1. DC Consulting
Experience with DC business design, operation, and consulting services
Abundant experience with business design and operation of green, safe, and cloud-computing DC
Mastery of industrial knowledge (telecom, government, transport, energy, finance, accounting, and large enterprises)
Good communication skills and mastery of consulting methodologies
2. DC Equipment Room
Technical knowledge of one or more systems used in the equipment room, including the power supply and distribution system, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, low-voltage system, decoration, and fire protection system
Good understanding of industrial standards, for example, TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE, and NFPA
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Sketchup, 3DMAX, and other 3D design software preferred
Abundant experience in drafting criteria and processes for the design, construction, and acceptance of DCs; experience designing large DCs preferred
3. DC IT Infrastructure
Technical knowledge of one or more systems of DC IT infrastructure, including the cloud computing, virtualization, storage, IP network, security, and disaster recovery systems
Qualifications & Requirements:
The specific requirements for each domain are as follows:
A. Cloud computing architecture:
Technical knowledge of each system in cloud-computing domain and good understanding of the industrial standards of cloud-computing domain
Experience with DC, virtualization, and cloud domains; abundant experience with solution architecture
B. Virtualization:
Familiarity with VMware vSphere, Citrix XenServer, and other virtualization products; VCP and related certifications preferred
C. Storage:
Proficient in SAN, NAS, and other storage technologies and solutions
Familiarity with online storage, cloud storage, virtual storage, and data deduplication; SNIA certification (SCSP, SCSE, and SCSA) and related certifications preferred
D. Network:
Familiarity with large-scale IP network and proficient in switching & routing protocols
Mastery of network analysis tools such as Smartbit and Sniffer
Experience with the design, operation, and maintenance of large DCs; CCIE/CISSP related certifications preferred
E. Security:
Good knowledge of technologies, products, and tools related to cyber security and information security; ability to design solutions for mainstream security products
In-depth understanding of current security standards, such as ISO27001 and BS7799/ISO17799
Certifications of CCIE, CISSP, ISO027001 lead auditor, CISA, GIAC, CEH, CSPM, and ISSEP preferred
F. Disaster Recovery:
Technical knowledge of business continuity system of DC, including data backup system and disaster recovery system
In-depth understanding of current business continuity standards of DC, such as SHARE/78 and GB/T 20988-2007
G. Virtual Desktop:
Technical knowledge of virtual desktop
Knowledge of the enterprise infrastructure, AD domain, and terminal services of Microsoft Windows Server
Familiarity with the virtualization products of VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft
4. DC Application and O&M
A. Application Integration
Familiarity with the mainstream enterprise architectures in the industry, such as SOA and TOGEF
Familiarity with the mainstream software development and database technologies
Familiarity with system integration projects, such as Smart City/Campus
Proficient in Java+ or C#/C++
Familiarity with the WEB application development tools and related products, such as WebSphere or Oracle
Training or Certifications of related software or database preferred
B. OSS/ITSM:
Technical knowledge of DC OSS/ITSM system
In-depth understanding of current DC, cloud-computing, and O&M management standards and familiarity with ITIL
Familiarity with OSS/ITSM products of BMC, HP, and IBM and other mainstream vendors
Experience with DC O&M support and management and ITIL/ISO20000 certifications preferred
competency requirements：
Bachelor degree or above in related discipline;
10 years or above experience in Data Center;
Good command of English, mandarin languages is a plus;
Mobility to travel overseas;
Work location: Shen Zhen overseas travel as required.
